November 2008

We have finished milking the goats this month, giving them (and me!) a much needed rest. Since we breed most of our goats in October, we stop milking in November so they will be ready when birthing season starts in February and March.

We will continue to make our wonderful soaps and lotions. So you can always purchase them through the winter months.

Our plans for 2009 will be to try to build our business. We will return to the Anderson and Hyde Park Farmer's Markets in June and will probably add the Newtown Farmer's Market. If you can't get to the markets, you can buy our products at Bethel Feed and Grain (our soaps), Sunrock Farm (our soaps, lotions, cheese, fudge and jams), Keegan's Gourmet Seafood (our soaps, duck and chicken eggs) and Latitudes Restaurant (serving our goat meat and duck eggs).

In 2009 we will be making our USDA-inspected goat meat available to the public. Please call us for available cuts and prices.

Looks good, Yankee Lady! But please add bread to your interests, since I know you bake extensively!!
